Dental emergencies can be dangerous.

When you envision a health emergency, it’s likely that the dentist doesn’t come to mind. But problems with your teeth can be excruciating and incapacitating. They require instant care. Dr. Toney and the staff at North Pointe Dental help with toothaches, execute emergency root canals and repairs cracked or missing teeth with little to no notice. If you have no insurance, North Pointe Dental, PLLC extends memberships for your dental emergency.

Emergency Dental Services

Our experienced dentist, North Pointe Dental can help the following:

Toothache Remedies: Toothaches may seem innocuous, but they may be signs of a real problem. Prolonged aches and pain can lead to or exacerbate tooth decay. Call North Pointe Dental, PLLC as soon as you feel discomfort or pain.

Breaks, Chips, or Cracks: You can’t avoid accidents, but you definitely shouldn’t evade going to the dentist in the case of a dental emergency. Call to set up your appointment as soon as possible. Our emergency dentist is not on-call 24/7, so we may not be able to see you instantly. See our office hours at the bottom of our page.

To avoid further damage after an injury, rinse your mouth with warm water and apply a cold compress on your face to alleviate pain and puffiness. Because Dr. Toney may be able to reattach any broken or chipped pieces during your dentist visit, simply bring the tooth to your appointment in a wet towel. Avoiding abrupt dental care can end in emergency root canals later.

Loosened or Avulsed Teeth: Playing sports is beneficial for your health, but sometimes results in damaged teeth. Sports damages and other calamities can cause your teeth to become loose or even to fall out. North Pointe Dental can help with emergencies involving wobbly or knocked-out teeth.

Sometimes it is possible to temporarily attach your missing tooth until you can get to the dentist’s office. If that’s not a possibility, wash the tooth under a faucet. Do not abrade, as that may cause root damage.
