Porcelain Veneers

Dental veneers are a custom designed, thin “shell” that is bonded over a patient’s existing tooth structure. A veneer can address issues such as chipped enamel, unsightly wear and tear, bridging small gaps between existing teeth and otherwise restoring a patient to a bright, white smile with beautifully aligned and shaped teeth. The translucent quality of today’s porcelain results in a more natural appearing tooth than what has been available in the past.

Creating and placing dental veneers is one of the more artful techniques in dentistry and Dr. Toney is well-prepared to shape your smile. Veneers will generally require 2-3 visits to complete. In your first visit, all photos and impressions will be taken so that our dental lab can prepare models of your mouth. At your second consultation, Dr. Toney will review these models with you and any alterations of the veneers can be made at this time. Subsequent appointments are devoted to bonding your custom veneers to existing tooth structure.

Another benefit of veneers is that they are a long-lasting approach to existing cosmetic concerns. If you are considering veneers and have further questions, feel free to contact our office for a free dental consultation with Dr. Toney.
